"Linked is the script outlining the evidence that the flag in the HAC is the flag that posted on 9 Jan on Morris Is to identify the cadet position to seafaring vessels. I am hopeful some of the Directors make use of it at club meetings to educate the alumni on what Big Red is and the evidence that supports its association with the SCCC. There is a urgent need to close ranks on the heritage of The Citadel and have alumni understand what some remembrances stand for in the historical context of the college. Big Red is both a mystery and/or misunderstood by many."
